Really good food. Small place. Might be hard to park at times but I found parking pretty close. The steak super burrito enchilada style was delicious
I first learned of this place from a yellow taxi driver 20 years ago. The line gets long at lunchtime, but a Supreme Burrito will fill you up and leave you with enough leftovers for another entire meal. Not much indoor seating, best for takeout. Cash only but 2 ATMs next door.
I love La Corneta because of their baby burrito. I know everyone wants a big Mission-style Super Burrito. When I asked for a small one the ladies at the counter even asked me to confirm multiple times. But those big burritos honestly are too big and hurt once you've eaten them. The baby burrito was all I needed and left room for some versatility like some chips, a dessert or an agua fresca. And I got that under $10. Who could complain about that?
Ordered on DoorDash and was delivered exactly as requested! I ordered a Al Pator super burrito ($14) which was small but mighty. The ingredients tasted fresh and balanced.. not heavy on the carbs nor the meat, which was perfect. Bonus point for the order coming with chips! Solid 4 star experience. Yummy Certified!
Good food. Efficient. Neighborhood. Better feeling than the Thai up the road. The production team is vastly better organized than the check-out. I waited longer to pay than for the production of the burrito which by then was lukewarm. Cash only. Cashier needs better process.
Cute little place in Glen Park. It was packed to order for lunch on a Monday. I got the steak quesadilla and a cantaloupe aqua fresca. The steak really sells here -so very fresh. I suppose i would have liked a more even distribution of meat and cheese (to the edges) but it was more all in the middle. The aqua fresca was where it was at!! YUM, Definitely order this - they had four flavor and all made in house. The counter ladies are all super fast and nice, moving that long line right along.
I'll keep trumpeting these folks' name. I go to this place often and the food there is consistent. It's a great operation, like a well-oiled machine and rightly so because it can get busy and you need to get a huge menu all served up and get them hungry people their food and back on their way. The food is good and they aren't stingy with their servings. And the best thing of all, the prices are reasonable. This is a great neighborhood restaurant in the Glen Park district.
